Arsenal get back to Premier League action when they take on Crystal Palace at the Emirates this afternoon.
Unai Emery has made several changes from the side that beat Vitoria in the Europa League on Thursday night but Kieran Tierney keeps his place at left-back so Sead Kolasinac has to settle for a place among the substitutes.
Sokratis, David Luiz and Calum Chambers are recalled to the back four with Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin dropping to the bench while Shkodran Mustafi doesn’t make the matchday squad. Bernd Leno replaces Emi Martinez between the sticks.
Granit Xhaka is recalled in midfield after he was rested on Thursday night while Matteo Guendouzi and Dani Ceballos also start in the Arsenal midfield. Lucas Torreira drops to the bench while Joe Willock doesn’t make the 18-man squad.
Alexandre Lacazette keeps his place up front as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang comes back into the attack after his rest in midweek. Nicolas Pepe starts following his superb cameo on Thursday that saw him score two late free-kicks to win the game for Arsenal.
Gabriel Martinelli is named among the subs despite scoring in the Europa League but once again there is no Mesut Ozil in the Gunners squad this afternoon.
