BREAKING NEWS – Positive News On Djourou Injury
Arsenal have recieved some good news on the injury front after confirming that defender Johan Djourou should return before the end of the season after having exploratory surgery on his dislocated shoulder.
Djourou sustained the injury during the second half of Arsenal’s 2-0 FA Cup defeat to Man Utd at Old Trafford last weekend and initially it was feared he would miss the rest of the season. However, Arsenal.com have now released a statement saying Johan will not need reconstructive surgery and should return to training in 4 weeks.
The Club can confirm the positive news that there isn’t a need for reconstructive surgery and he will now begin a period of rehabilitation on the shoulder before returning to training in around a month.
