Liverpool have recently been linked (several times) with Aston Villa trickster, Ashley Young and Damien Comolli is apparently a known admirer of the player with his dribbling and crossing ability from the wing, but most importantly, he will be able to slot right in at left wing.
His year can be described in a single word, ‘Frustrating’. He has had a brilliant season when it comes to the numbers, garnering a total of 8 goals and an whipping up an incredible number of 12 assists. Nani is the top with 14, but it doesn’t get THAT much closer.
Aston Villa have been struggling for much of this season after Martin O’Neil’s rather controversial departure from Villa Park last summer, with Gerard Houlier coming in and in all honestly, not boosting the morale around there at all.
