Vidic Wants Trophies
Manchester United skipper Nemanja Vidic said that captaining his side to earn at least one silverware at the end of the season would be ‘a dream come true’ for him.
The Red Devils are most probably through to the UEFA Champions League final (having beaten Schalke 2-0 in the first-leg of the semi-final tie) and are also in an absolute pole position to lift the Barclays Premier League (leading nearest title contenders, Chelsea, by six points with six nail-biting games left to play).
Skipper Nemanja Vidic, who was handed the armband by manager Sir Alex Ferguson at the beginning of the campaign and has been one of the star performers for Manchester United this season, is very desperate to get the job done for his side.
Obviously it’s a dream to be the captain, especially at such a big club as Manchester United, and lift the trophy.

The Manchester United captain also added that the club’s star striker, Wayne Rooney, is the man to help Manchester United realise their trophy ambitions this season.
At the moment he’s in great form, these last few weeks. He’s had some great performances and scored some great goals.
