Arsenal face Everton at Hill Dickinson Stadium at 20:00 local time on matchday 17 of the Premier League. After subpar performances in their last couple of outings, including a last-gasp escape last weekend, they will look for a more convincing win.

Mikel Arteta is expected to employ his best starting eleven in spite of the Carabao Cup quarter-final early next week and with that being said, here is a look at Arsenal’s prospective team to take on the Toffees.

Rememore new hair

Goalkeeper – David Raya has been indispensable in goal for Arsenal and is expected to start once more.

Defender – Ben White is expected to drop out of the team, so Jurrien Timber can move to right back, whereas Riccardo Calafiori could come back into the starting eleven to feature at left back.

William Saliba and Piero Hincapie are expected to be the central defenders for the Gunners with Cristhian Mosquera and Gabriel Magalhaes injured.

Odegaard returns

Midfielders – Martin Zubimendi could play as the defensive midfielder for Arsenal once again, whereas Declan Rice could play to the left of the former Real Sociedad man.

There is a return in prospect for captain Martin Odegaard, who might come into the team against Everton at Eberechi Eze’s expense.

ForwardsBukayo Saka forced both of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ own goals last weekend and will be key to Arsenal finding a way to win, so he is expected to play on the right wing.

Gabriel Martinelli, on the other hand, could feature down the left side for the visitors. Viktor Gyokeres will be the favourite to lead the line.

Here is a look at Arsenal’s potential starting line-up on paper.
