Robertson and Frimpong return: Predicted Liverpool XI vs Arsenal

Jeremie Frimpong: My first LFC goal was a cross... but it still felt so good - Liverpool FC

Liverpool return to the Premier League after drawing to Fulham last time out and are in London once more as they face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night.

Having won the fixture at Anfield in August by a 1-0 margin, the Reds will hope to do the double over the league leaders and fuel their Champions League qualification hopes.

Rememore new hair

Here is how Arne Slot’s men are expected to line-up.

Goalkeeper – Alisson Becker is expected to start in goal for Liverpool.

Defenders – Conor Bradley is expected to keep his place on the right side of the back four, but Milos Kerkez might make way for the more experienced Andy Robertson on the other side.

Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk might both continue in the central defensive positions against Arsenal.

Frimpong set for an advanced role

Midfielders – Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch are expected to both continue in the double pivot for Liverpool in the engine room, whereas Dominik Szoboszlai might assume an advanced role at number 10.

£30 million summer signing Jeremie Frimpong could come into the team in a very high role at right wing, with Florian Wirtz playing on the left side having showing decent form in recent outings.

Forward – With Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike both unfit for the match, Cody Gakpo is expected to lead the line for Liverpool against Arsenal.

Here is how the Reds may look on paper.
