20-goal Striker Praises Sir Alex Ferguson
“Little P” has paid tribute to Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson for giving him the chance to shine at United.
Mexican international Javier Hernandez was virtually unknown before his switch to Old Trafford and thanks the United boss for his devoplement as a footballer.
“I only have words of thanks for Sir Alex because he has given me a lot of opportunities to play for this club, so I owe him a lot,” said Hernandez.
“I am improving how I play. I am trying to be quicker with the ball, with more technique and concentration, because it is very difficult to keep the ball in this league.
“Of course, I have a lot of improving to do and I will work hard every day to achieve that.”
The 23-year old had a remarkable debut season with the Champions, scoring 20 goals in all competitions including the vital opener against Chelsea, that saw United go on and win the game 2-1.
