Arsenal Transfer News: Striker Set For £10m Emirates Exit
Arsenal’s Moroccan forward, Marouane Chamakh is being lined up with a £10m switch to French side, Paris St Germain according to reports.
TalkSport suggest that the troubled striker, who has failed to settle in English football, has been monitored by the ambitious French side since his switch from Bordeaux in 2010.
Chamakh started off life at the Emirates in decent form, scoring some important goals while Robin Van Persie was out injured during the winter months. However his form tailed off towards the end of last season and has been a peripheral figure this season.
Antoine Kombouare, PSG’s manager is “a long-term admirer of the forward” and reports also suggest that Arsenal may well have already been subjected to a £10m bid from the French capital, with Sporting Director and Brazilian legend Leonardo acting on Chamakh’s lack of first-team football this season.
