The Daily Mail write that Arsenal are “on the brink” of brining Real Madrid starlet, Jose Rodriguez to The Emirates.
Not content with raiding Madrid’s rivals Barcelona for their young stars, Arsenal now appear set to raid Spain’s championship pretenders Real for another potential starlet.
Rodriguez, 16, is a Spanish U17 international and is thought to have been brought to the attention of Wenger via Arsenal scout, Francisco Cagigao, who sent rave reviews back to the Frenchman.
The youngster has already spent time in North London assessing the club’s facilities and taking in the youth team’s living quarters, and is expected to sign a deal within the next few days.
