Chelsea To Beat Arsenal, Spurs & Man Utd In Race For £30m Striker
Chelsea are leading a host of Premier League clubs in the race to sign Ivorian talent Seydou Doumbia, according to reports.
Russian media claims the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Spurs are all keeping tabs orated n CSKA Moscow’s £30m striker, but it is the Blues who are thought to be heading the race and are lining up an offer for the forward.
The 23-year old, who is also wanted by Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona, has been earning rave reviews for the Russian club and his performances have alerted clubs from all over Europe. Doumbia spoke recently about coming close to moving to a London club before he joined CSKA and reiterated his desire to play in England one day:
“It is a dream for me to play in that league one day. Before I came here, a big London club were interested in me. However, with work permit problems it was complicated. But I want to play in that league in my career. It would be a dream come true.”
