Dalglish Slams Liverpool Players

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has blasted his players after their 0-0 draw with Swansea City and has demanded their performances improve.

The Scot was left frustrated after his sides disappointing display, which was not helped with an excellent performance from goalkeeper Michel Vorm, who denied Luis Suarez and Glen Johnson late on.

Carroll missed an excellent chance within the first ten minutes and Dalglish admits the goal would have changed the game. Dalglish also stressed that he was disappointed with the level of performance from his side and was more from his players:

“If we had scored early on it might have changed the way the game went but we never scored so it is hypothetical,” said the Scot.

“No-one has ever in the history of football deliberately missed a chance.

“That is 10 times we have hit the post or the bar this season.

“Maybe if the chance goes in it may have changed the complexion of the game but as well as paying credit to Swansea we have to look at ourselves.”

“I think the performance was disappointing,” added the Reds boss.

“Swansea played the way we would have expected they would play but we didn’t play the way we expected to play. Anything that we were good at we certainly didn’t do too much of today.

“We are usually good at passing and moving and there was not a great deal of that and when we got it back we gave it away quickly.

“They had one chance in the second half when the boy (Mark Gower) put it over and Pepe made a save in the first half but we have to understand that level of performance isn’t acceptable.”

‘IF DALGLISH HAD ANY IDEA AS A TACTICIAN’ he Would be directing his players as to what they are supposed to be doing on the field, and as to what he ‘EXPECTS ‘ them to be doing !! RAFA BENITEZ would be at the touchline reminding them what they are there for !!!

POhpleae dont even mention that silly man rafa in the same breath as king kenny. There is only so much a coach can do, beyond that its upto the players to the business on the field.

hey i usually dont say this but do SHUT UP. rafa is better than kenny any are too blind to see that a team running around like headless chicken lacks tactical input as attested to by D. Agger. with GBP100m rafa will not have a team running around like headless chicken.

liverpool is not missing gerrard. they are missing quality addition to the core of the team that rafa benitez left.

currently on form, torres and ngog > carroll; meriles > adam, aquillani > gerrard; babel > downing; spearing > henderson. and all of them didnt cost 75m GPB

all rafa needed was money to add quality wingmen to the core he had hence he went for david silva and jovetic but was not backed. we all have seen him turn average players like abeloa into good player, good players like alonso and torres into excellent players, because they all improved.

KK is out of depth as we saw how coaches that are not super like totenham, sunderland, swansea and norwich outwitting him after spending GBP100m

the team is not improving in skill, positioning, technique and tactical awareness. and since the feel good factor is over the team is begging for a tactician.

at least now gerrard and carra have the coach of their dream who will pamper them and put an arm around them but unfortunately a lot of money have been spent but the result have not changed.

Well let me say SCREW YOU DOUCHEBAG! And I dont usually say that either. You gotta be some newb fan outta high school who thinks you know it all right? Well guess what, KK has been a round alot longer than you and as head coach his opinion counts. Period. Rafa was a bufoon (like you) who ruined LFC completely so if your that crazy for that dude, why dont you go support him and leave LFC? Itsfans like you who once chanted “tara fergie” when fergie started out at united and had SIX barren years before winning ANYTHING. And guess who scored the goal who made fergie keep his job? not his hundred thousand pound signings but a green kid called robinson. KK aint going nowhere because unlike fans such as yourself who ob know nothing about soccer, management will make sure he sticks around for a long time.

They are professional players. They KNOW what they are there for. Too much blame goes on the manager and not enough blame goes on the multi-millionaires.
