Manchester United youngster Ravel Morrison has denied Sir Alex Ferguson’s claims that he has rejected a contract offer from the club.
Morrison’s contract expires in June and last week Fergie claimed that the 18-year-old had rejected an improved deal to commit his long-term future to Old Trafford.
This lead to the Daily Mail linking Newcastle and Arsenal with the midfielder, however Arsene Wenger later denied his interest in the player, while Sky Sports News claim Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested.
However, Morrison has today denied Ferguon’s claims, writing on his Twitter account that he hasn’t turned down a contract offer from the club:
Interestingly, shortly before making this statement another tweet simply said ‘hacked’, possibly suggesting the players Twitter account had been hacked by a third party. Although this could be referring to an earlier tweet that was promoting weight loss products.
