Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong picked up a nasty injury during yesterday’s Midlands derby between on-loan club Wolves and rivals Aston Villa. Frimpong was stretchered off after accidentally being kicked in the face by Villa midfielder Petrov.
The 20-year-old is awaiting full scan results but Wolves confirmed on their website that initial tests showed there was no damage to the head or spine, which is obviously great news. Watch full highlights from the game below, which ended Wolves 2-3 Aston Villa, with the Frimpong incident timed at about 6:30.
