Arsenal Star Taunts London Rivals

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has aimed a cheeky taunt in the direction of rivals Tottenham, claiming he hopes they end up in the Europa League next season.
Tottenham have spent the majority of the season ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League table and at one point held a 10 point advantage of their North London neighbours.
But momentum seems to be with Arsenal as we approach the business end of the season, after the Gunners beat Spurs 5-2 and Liverpool 2-1 in recent weeks and are now just four points off their third-placed rivals.
Chelsea are a further three points off the pace, and Szczesny has made it perfectly clear he would love nothing more than to see the Blues also overtake Spurs and for them to miss out on Champions League football all-together. The Polish stopper is quoted by ITV as saying:
“I would not settle right now for fourth place. We are four points behind the other north London club – I am not going to say their name – and hopefully we can challenge them.
Hopefully Chelsea can challenge them for fourth place and I would be really pleased to see them in the Europa League next season.”
“That would be fantastic. Hopefully they will be looking at this result and are looking over their shoulders.
“The momentum is with us. We won two fantastic games against Liverpool and Tottenham and we won a great game against Milan.”
You’ve got to give it to the guy, he’s not shy in giving an honest opinion is he!? But perhaps it’s not the best idea to wind up your rivals, especially given the fact they are still above you in the league.
Although Harry Redknapp will be pleased with his comments, he has just given him his next pre-match team talk after all.
