Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby made a goal-scoring return to action on Tuesday as the reserves drew 1-1 away to Liverpool.

Diaby used the reserves fixture as a way to gain match fitness following a hamstring strain. The Frenchman has endured a nightmare season that has been blighted by injury, and has only managed little over 30 minutes of first team football so far. The poor lad even managed to get himself injured as he bundled the ball home from close range in the second half.
