Montpellier’s highly-rated defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa has issued a come-and-get-me plea to Manchester United and Arsenal amid speculation he could be set for a move to England.
Yanga-Mbiwa has become an integral part of the Montpellier team since breaking into the side aged just 17 and has gone on to make over 160 appearances for the club.
The 22-year-old is most comfortable at centre back but can play anywhere across the back-line, as well in defensive midfield, and according to the Daily Mail he has attracted interest from Arsenal, Newcastle, Man Utd and Liverpool in recent months.

With his contract set to enter it’s final year, it’s believed Yanga-Mbiwa will be available for around £7m this summer and the player has dropped his biggest hint yet that he’s set for a move to the Premier League after being quoted as saying that a move to Manchester United would be a ‘dream’, while also calling Arsenal a ‘big team’.
‘Playing for Manchester United would give great satisfaction and it would mean a dream could become a reality,’ he said.
‘Arsenal too are a big team.’

Montpellier are on course to win the Ligue 1 title this season but their impressive side could be dismantled this summer with several key players linked with moves away from the club.
