[Image & Video] Carlos Tevez Holds Up ‘R.I.P Fergie’ Banner
Former Man Utd striker Carlos Tevez has made himself public enemy No.1 at Old Trafford after holding up a sign reading “RIP Fergie” at the City victory parade
Former Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez has made himself public enemy number one at Old Trafford after holding up a sign reading “RIP Fergie” during the Manchester City victory parade yesterday.
As you can see from the image above, Tevez held the sign, which was in the shape of a tombstone, with the message to his former boss. Of course the Argentine would have meant it as a bit of harmless banter between the two rivals, but it’s unlikely to go down well at United and has sparked outrage on several social media sites.
After a controversial season you’d have thought Carlos would have been keen to keep his head down, but obviously he thinks this is the best way to get himself back in the hearts of the City faithful. Manchester City have since released a statement apologising for the incident.
