Cole Has Fresh Dig At Arsenal Fans & Dismisses £200,000-a-week Claims
Ashley Cole has had another dig at Arsenal whilst also denying reports that contract talks with Chelsea have stalling due to his £200,000-a-week wage demands
Ashley Cole has had another dig at Arsenal fans whilst also denying reports that contract talks with Chelsea have stalled due to his £200,000-a-week wage demands.
The 31-year-old has not been on popular social networking site ‘Twitter‘ long, but he’s already taken a couple of swipes at former club Arsenal.
Only 2 weeks ago, Cole posted an image showing the number of trophies he’d won since leaving the Gunners six years ago and comparing it to the number his former side had won and he’s been at it again today.
The Chelsea left back hit back at Arsenal fans telling them to “get over it, I left I won” before reminding Gooners that he’d won the Champions League trophy with the hashtag #ihaveastaronmyshirtnow.
The England defender has only one year remaining on his current contract at Stamford Bridge and Cole confirmed talks have opened over an extension, but denied reports that he’s asking for £200,000-a-week. On his official Twitter account – @TheRealAC3 – Cole wrote:
“Contract talks have not stalled just started, and 200k are you for real, I’d never ask for that,”
“Like I said before don’t listen or always believe what media say they aint got a clue”.
