Liverpool welcome Arsenal to Anfield this afternoon with both sides looking to register their first wins of the season.
Brendan Rodgers hands Nuri Sahin his debut after signing the Turkish international on a season-long loan from Real Madrid. He comes in for Lucas Leiva, who has been ruled out for up to three months with a thigh injury.
Daniel Agger returns from suspension and takes his place alongside Martin Skrtel at the back.
Per Mertesacker continues at the back despite the return to fitness of Laurent Koscielny, who only makes the bench. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain comes in for Gervinho, with Theo Walcott once again on among the subs.
However, Szczesny misses out again with a back injury so Vito Mannone continues in goal. Arsene Wenger continues with Olivier Giroud in attack and will be hoping his new-look strike force can find the target after firing blanks in the opening two fixtures.
