Portuguese striker may be on his way to Tottenham according to agent

Yannick Djalo could be set for a move to Tottenham Hotspur according to his agent.
The Sporting Lisbon striker is one of Portugal’s highly regarded prospects and proved his credibility against English opponents last week as he netted a brace against big spenders Manchester City in the Barclays New York Challenge.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has underlined the clubs intent to bring in new recruits with a striker high on his list of priorities. With Robbie Keane’s future at White Hart Lane still up in the air the North Londoners may see the 24 year old as a readymade replacement.
His agent Lionel da Silva has ruled out his client’s prospects of playing in Italy’s Serie A but insists Tottenham’s interest is concrete.
“I believe Yannick will not play in Italy.” Da Silva told Sky Sports.
“He is a player who is wanted in England and Tottenham looks like the most likely destination.”
A major stumbling block may be his participation in the clubs Champions League adventure. Having already played for the Lisbon giants in a UEFA Europa League qualifier his participation for another club in a European competition is a no-go.
If a move to London does materialise he will join his brother Aliu Djalo, who is currently on the books of Premier League winners Chelsea.
Despite being called up by Carlos Queiroz for his country, he is yet to make his senior debut for Portugal.
