Marseille defender Nicolas N’Koulou has ruled out making a move to the Premier League this month amid reported interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, according to Sky Sports News.
The Cameroon international has become one of the most highly-rated centre backs in Ligue 1 after putting in a string of impressive displays at the heart of the Marseille back-line since making the move from Monaco in 2011.
His form hasn’t gone unnoticed with Sky Sports claiming that Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have all been keeping a close eye on the 22-year-old this season. However, it seems the London trio may have to wait if they’re hoping to land the talented stopper after he committed his short-term future to the French outfit, but left the door open over a summer move to England by claiming he will discuss his future at the end of the season.
“I need to finish the season in a strong position, I am not thinking about any transfer at the moment.”
“I want to help Marseille to finish with a trophy this season, my future will be discussed at the end of the season.” N’Koulou is quoted as saying by Sky Sports
Sky Sports suggest that the player has an agreement with Marseille that will see him remain with them until the summer at which point he’ll be allowed to move on as long as a suitable offer comes in.

I’ve seen quite a bit of N’Koulou this season and he’s been hugely impressive. I can definitely see him moving to one of Europe’s top clubs this summer and I’d personally love to see him come to the Premier League, but we’ll have to wait and see whether one of the London clubs manage’s to lure him to the capital.
