[Video] Mixed Night For Ramsey As Arsenal Man Scores Before Being Sent Off For Wales
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey scored and got sent off during a 2-1 win for Wales over Scotland in their World Cup qualifying clash. Watch the incidents here.
It was a mixed night for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey on Friday evening as he started for Wales in a 2-1 win over Scotland in their World Cup qualifying Group A clash.
Scotland took the lead just before the break through a Grant Hanley header but Ramsey got the Welsh back on level terms in the 73rd minute when Gunther was felled in the box after some good work from Rambo to set him free down the right, and the Arsenal man stepped up to smash home from the spot for 1-1.
Wales then took the lead through a Robson-Kanu header before Ramsey’s night was ended early when he was sent off in the dying seconds for a cynical foul on Mcarthur. Ramsey pondered on the ball for too long and was forced to haul the Scotland midfielder down after he stole the ball from him and was through on goal.
