Manchester United have joined Arsenal and Tottenham in the chase for highly-rated Dutch midfielder Jordy Clasie, according to the Express.
Clasie has been with Feyenoord since he was just nine-years-old and has emerged as one of the most exciting talents in Holland after breaking into the first team in 2011.
The 21-year-old is now considered an important part of the starting eleven and his eye-catching performances at the heart of Feyenoord’s team seems to have caught the attention of some of the Premier League’s heavy-weights.
The Express claims Arsenal and Tottenham have been tracking Clasie for some time with Arsene Wenger and Andre Villas-Boas both understood to be keen on luring him to England this summer.
However, it seems the north London rivals will have to fend off interest from run-away league leaders Manchester United, with the newspaper suggesting Sir Alex Ferguson has also identified the Dutch international as a potential recruit as he looks to bolster his midfield option at the end of the season.
Clasie is certainly a huge talent and has already been capped five times by the senior Dutch national team but the Express understand he will set the English trio back £6.5m if they want to sign him this summer.
