[Photo] Left-Back Aly Cissokho Signing His Liverpool Contract At Melwood

It seems Liverpool have another new signing with a photo of Aly Cissokho penning his contract in his new Liverpool shirt doing the rounds on Twitter this evening.

The Reds agreed a deal with Valencia last week to take the defender on an initial season long loan with the view to making the move permanent if things work out well.

The 25-year-old travelled to Merseyside over the weekend to undergo his medical and judging by the image below, it appears he’s put pen-to-paper on his contract.

Liverpool (at the time of writing) haven’t announced the move as official but clearly it’s just a matter of time before he’s confirmed as Liverpool’s fifth major signing of the summer as he follows Simon Mignolet, Kolo Toure, Iago Aspas and Luis ALberto in making the move to Anfield.

Boss Brendan Rodgers wanted competition at the left-back role for Jose Enrique and Cissokho will now fight it out with the Spaniard for a starting spot. The France international has played for Porto, Lyon and Valencia during his career already so will bring with him plenty of experience with him to Liverpool this season.

Great signing, Willian now ,and believe me if we got Tiago Ilori, we would have a team ready for a title push, not just top 4. Compare every player to that of the other top 6 teams players in the same position. So against Man United : Suarez » Van Persie
    Sturridge. ». Welbeck
    Coutinho. ». Zaha/Young
    Aspas /Willian. ». Valencia
Just think about it. Very even isn’t it not much between any of these players. I think Liverpool actually just edge it, slightly. We’ll have to wait and see.

I a, optimistic that we can get at least 4 th place and a cup, just heard the under 21s have just lumped the mancs future is promising!

Good shout Taiwo ! These 3 u named means title contenders for LIverpool but I can only see to managed. I’d add or as an option Sakho to PaPa and between BenArfa n Willian I’m happy with either . Both I’m sure can deliver the BR approach and another option with that bit of aggression n tenacity, Arda Turan would set us up really well fighting for top 4 and even the title the year after. YNWA !!!

I hate liverpool rumour cos they always fade away without beena reality, we miss Herink mkyhitaryan cos we fall to put in the bid now WILLIAN tottenham are willing to hijack the bid we are here with confidence that he will arrive at anfield, when will you people give us correct news, Same thing was applied to HERINK, dat he arrive for medical and the photo he was signing his deal a day after he report at Dortmund. August 20, 2013 at 9:06 am

ORBUNDE, I totally agree with what you’ve said buh, the thing here is that AvB has denied any rumour concerning willian, so LIVERPOOL as a club has to act faster and sign him before any club that can offer CL snap him under our noses…that’s just ma thought per say
