Liverpool climbed back to the top of the Premier League table with a comfortable 3-1 win over Crystal Palace at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
It was the deadly strike partnership of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge that did the damage once again, with the pair both getting on the scoresheet inside the opening 20 minutes to put the Reds in control. Captain Steven Gerrard then made it 3-0 with a penalty just before the half time while Dwight Gayle pulled one back for the visitors in the second half.
