Liverpool striker Luis Suarez was on target as Uruguay beat Argentina 3-2 in their final World Cup qualifier on Tuesday night.
Suarez put his nation 2-1 ahead with a 34th minute penalty but despite going on to win the game 3-2, Uruguay finished 5th in the South American qualifying table and will now have to beat Jordan in a two-legged play-off to secure a place at the 2014 World Cup finals.
