Arsenal Receive Huge Double Injury Boost

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has received a huge double injury boost ahead of the visit of Southampton with Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott both taking part in full training this week, according to the Mirror.
Ramsey has started this season in stunning fashion with his 11 goals and all-action performances helping Arsenal reach the top of not only the Premier League table but also their Champions League group.
The 22-year-old was forced to miss Wales’ friendly with Finland on Saturday due to a tight hamstring and there were fears he could be set to miss the Saints clash this coming weekend.
However, the Mirror claim medical staff have given the midfielder the all-clear to resume full training and he should be in the squad to face the south coast club.
Walcott on the other hand has been on the sidelines for over six weeks following surgery on an abdominal injury that he picked up before the Stoke City game, but the winger is also back in full training this week and will be in contention to face his former club this weekend.
Walcott’s return will be a huge boost to Arsene Wenger who has seen his attacking option limited by injury during the first few months of the season. Lukas Podolski is also closing in on a first team comeback and could return before the end of the month meaning we’ll have another option in attack as we head into the busy festive period.
