Manchester United thrashed Bayer Leverkusen 5-0 in Germany on Wednesday night to secure qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Antonio Valencia, Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling and Nani were all on the score-sheet to see-off the Bundesliga outfit with ease and ensure United will be in the hat for the last 16 draw with a game to spare. The Champions will now head into the final game with a four-point cushion over Leverkusen and a three-point advantage over Shakhtar Donetsk.
