Andre Villas-Boas found himself under intense pressure following last week’s 6-0 loss to Manchester City but made nine changes for the game against Tromso in midweek, which the north Londoners won 2-0 to secure top spot in their Europa League group.
Hugo Lloris, Kyle Walker, Sandro, Paulinho, Jan Vertonghen and Aaron Lennon were among those rested on Thursday so they are expected to be recalled.
Vlad Chiriches could keep his place in defence after an excellent display against the Norwegian’s while Roberto Soldado should start up front despite struggling in front of goal this season.
As for United they put in a superb performance to beat Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night and David Moyes should stick with the majority of the team that put five past the Germans.
The United boss confirmed that Robin van Persie and Nemanja Vidic are in with a chance of featuring after missing the game in midweek. Shinji Kagawa has a good chance of keeping his spot after an excellent display while Marouane Fellaini could come back in to the midfield after serving a suspension last time out.
