Man City vs Arsenal: Predicted Starting Line-Ups For The Big Game

Manchester City entertain Arsenal at the Etihad on Saturday lunchtime as two of the early pace-setters go head-to-head.

Arsenal currently lead the Premier League by five points from second-placed Liverpool with City a further point behind so the Citizens will be looking to cut the deficit this weekend.

Manuel Pellegrini made several changes for the midweek win over Bayern Munich so is expected to recall a number of first team regulars. Costel Pantilimon is likely to replace Joe Hart once again, while Vincent Kompany, Pablo Zabaleta and Gael Clichy should come in to the defence.

Yaya Toure, Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo and Samir Nasri were all rested in midweek and will also be recalled to the starting line-up this weekend.

Arsene Wenger was unable to rest his key men for the north Londoners tense clash with Napoli on Wednesday but the Frenchman may decide to freshen things up after a gruelling clash at the San Paolo Stadium.

Bacary Sagna is not expected to recover from a hamstring strain so Carl Jenkinson will continue at right-back meaning the back five will remain unchanged.

Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere could be recalled in midfield while Theo Walcott may make his first start in over two months after recovering from an abdominal injury.
