Ramsey, Willian, Podolski & More: Players React On Twitter To Arsenal 0-0 Chelsea
Arsenal and Chelsea played out a drab 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night. Here is what some of the players had to say on Twitter after the game.
Arsenal and Chelsea played out a drab 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night to keep both sides in touch at the top of the table.
The Gunners moved level on points with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League while Chelsea are two points adrift in fourth so it’s all to play for as we head into a busy festive period.
The big talking points from a game with few clear cut chances were John Obi Mikel’s challenge on Mikel Arteta that went unpunished by referee Mike Dean while he also waived play-on when Theo Walcott appeared to be fouled in the area.
After the game, Lukas Podolski, Aaron Ramsey, Willian and Cesar Azpilicueta took to Twitter to react to the stalemate and it seems both sets of players were relatively content with the result.
Here is what the players had to say:
Disappointing result but probably fair in the end. Conditions didn't help the game. Joint top, move on and enjoy the run up to Christmas!
