Arsenal beat West Ham 3-1 on Thursday afternoon thanks to a brace from Theo Walcott and a strike from Lukas Podolski on his return to the side from injury.
The win saw the Gunners move back to the top of the Premier League with previous leaders Liverpool losing 2-1 away at Manchester City in tonight’s late kick-off, although the game was overshadowed by an injury to midfielder Aaron Ramsey who was forced off with a thigh injury.
