Rodgers has recalled Jon Flanagan at right back with Martin Kelly dropping out while Raheem Sterling also returns to play alongside Daniel Sturridge, Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez in attack.
New Everton signing Lacina Traore is at the ground but is not included in the squad, but Antolin Alcaraz is passed fit to start at the back while Ross Barkley and Steven Pienaar also start.
