The hosts will be out to avenge last weeks 5-1 thrashing by the Merseysiders but Arsene Wenger has put his sides chances at risk by naming a weakened side ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
Lukasz Fabianski starts in goal while young striker Yaya Sanogo makes his full debut, replacing Olivier Giroud up front. Carl Jenkinson, Nacho Monrea, Mathieu Flamini, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lukas Podolski also start.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has made three changes to his side with Brad Jones coming in for Simon Mignolet it goal while Daniel Agger returns to the defence and starts alongside Martin Skrtel at the back. Joe Allen comes in for Jordan Henderson in midfield.
