Arsenal beat Liverpool 2-1 at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon to reach the quarter finals of the FA Cup.
The Gunners went ahead in the 16th minute when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was on hand to fire home a loose ball in the box before the youngster then set up Lukas Podolski to make it 2-0 just after half time.
Liverpool pulled one back when Podolski fouled Luis Suarez in the box, with Steven Gerrard making it 2-1 with a well taken penalty. Liverpool went close to grabbing an equaliser but Arsenal held on to book their place in the last eight, where they’ll now meet Everton at the Emirates next month.
