The visitors took the lead shortly after half time when Schurrle burst clear to slot home for 1-0 before he calmly doubled the Blues advantage with another neat finish. The German then completed his treble with another decisive strike before Johny Heitinga grabbed a late consolation for Fulham.
The win sees Chelsea move four points clear of Arsenal, who lost 1-0 at Stoke today.
