Referees Confirmed For Weekend Fixtures: Find Out Who’ll Be In Charge Of Your Team
See which referee’s have been chosen to oversee this weekend’s big Premier League games involving Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd and Tottenham.
We’ve just enjoyed another scintillating weekend of Premier League football as things start to really hot up at the top of the table.
Liverpool were certainly the big winners with Brendan Rodgers’ men thrashing Tottenham 4-0 at Anfield to move clear at the top of the table after Chelsea lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace, while fellow title hopefuls Arsenal and Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw at the Emirates to make it the perfect weekend for the Merseysiders.
As ever, there were several talking points from the games that have taken place over this past week. Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini hit the headlines for the wrong reasons as he was accused of not only elbowing Pablo Zabaleta in the face during United’s 3-0 defeat to City last Tuesday, but he was seen spiting in the defenders direction as he lay on the ground. Luckily for United, the Belgian was only shown a yellow card and will escape further action.
With referees decisions under the microscope more than ever, it’s no wonder fans are keen to learn who’ll be officiating their teams upcoming games, so here’s a run through of who’s been selected to oversee this weekend’s big fixtures.
