Liverpool entertain Manchester City at Anfield this afternoon in a huge game at the top of the table.
The Reds head into the game with a two point lead over Chelsea with City a further two points adrift – although Manuel Pellegrini’s men have two games in hand – so today’s game is going to have a huge say in where the title ends up at the end of the season.
Brendan Rodgers has named an unchanged side from the one that beat West Ham last week with Mamadou Sakho retaining his place in defence while Philippe Coutinho and Raheem Sterling both start.
City welcome back striker Sergio Aguero into the squad but he’s only selected on the bench, but captain Vincent Kompany starts despite limping out of training on Saturday.
Here are the confirmed line-ups:
Liverpool
Mignolet, Johnson, Flanagan, Sakho, Skrtel, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho, Sterling, Suarez, Sturridge
Subs: Jones, Toure, Agger, Aspas, Moses, Allen, Lucas
Man City
Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy, Toure, Fernandinho, Navas, Nasri, Silva, Dzeko
Subs: Pantilimon, Lescott, Kolarov, Garcia, Milner, Negredo, Aguero.
