[Team] Arsenal vs Boreham Wood: Ramsey & Zelalem Start

Arsenal get their pre-season preparations under way this afternoon when they take on Boreham Wood at Meadow Park.

Arsene Wenger has given those players who took part in the World Cup extra time off meaning we won’t be seeing the likes of Mesut Ozil, Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny or new signings Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy.

The boss has already confirmed he’ll play entirely different sides for each half of the game but he’s gone with a mixture of youth and experience from the start with the likes of Wojciech Szczesny, Nacho Monreal and Aaron Ramsey being joined by youngsters like Semi Ajayi, Gideon Zelalem and Jon Toral.

We also have some house-hold names on the bench with Tomas Rosicky, Kieran Gibbs, Mathieu Flamini and Abou Diaby all expected to get a run out.
