[Video Goals] Liverpool 4-0 Dortmund: Sturridge + Lovren On Target For Rampant Reds

Liverpool rounded off their pre-season preparations with a resounding 4-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

Daniel Sturridge put the Reds ahead in the 10th minute with a well-taken finish before new signing Dejan Lovren marked his home debut with a goal, with the Croatian defender headed home Steven Gerrard’s corner just three minutes  later.

Liverpool were rampant and Philippe Coutinho made it 3-0 shortly after half time when the Brazilian fired home into the bottom corner from a tight angel before Jordan Henderson made it four with a close range finish following some excellent work by Sturridge.

It was a superb all-round performance from Brendan Rodgers’ men and a great way to bounce back following their 3-0 loss to Manchester United on Tuesday as they prepare to kick off the Premier League season at home to Southampton next weekend.
