Wenger Makes Two Changes: Predicted Arsenal Starting XI To Take On Aston Villa

Arsenal will look to win their first game since the opening day of the Premier League season when they take on Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon. Here, Gooner Mac predicts the starting eleven Arsene Wenger will select.
Goalkeeper: Some fans have called for David Ospina to be handed his debut after some questionable performances by Wojciech Szczesny in recent games. However, I don’t see Arsene changing his No.1 so early in the season.
Defence: Mathieu Debuchy is out for the foreseeable future so Wenger has to decide who best will replace the Frenchman. Hector Bellerin made his debut in midweek but with Calum Chambers recovering from tonsillitis, I can see the former Saints defender coming in. Kieran Gibbs will keep his place ahead of Nacho Monreal.
Midfield: Jack Wilshere picked up an ankle knock against Dortmund and although it’s not thought to be serious, I don’t think the boss will take any chances with him. Aaron Ramsey is likely to keep his place despite some poor form of late. Mikel Arteta was well below par in midweek but I really don’t see Wenger dropping his skipper. He’s more likely to give him a chance to bounce back and prove his doubters wrong.
Attack: With Wilshere out, we could see Wenger revert back to a more familiar 4-2-3-1 formation which means Mesut Ozil could finally be deployed in his favoured position. Santi Cazorla has been unfortunate to be left out in recent games and he could come in to the side this weekend.
Here’s how Arsenal could line-up:
