[Tweets + Photos] Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshere + More React On Twitter To Arsenal’s Win
Kieran Gibbs, Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Hector Bellerin, Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski all reacted on Twitter to Arsenal’s win over Gala.
Arsenal eased to a 4-1 win over Galatasaray at the Emirates on Wednesday night to move up to second spot in Group D in the Champions League.
It was a night to remember for Danny Welbeck as the striker scored the first hat-trick of his professional career to help secure a big three points for the Gunners.
Alexis Sanchez also got himself on the score-sheet before Wojciech Szczesny was sent off for bringing down Burak Yilmaz in the area. It gifted the visitors a consolation but did mean that David Ospina came off the bench to make his first appearance in the Champions League for the club.
After the game, Kieran Gibbs, Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Hector Bellerin, Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski all took to Twitter to react to the victory with several players making a special effort to congratulate Welbeck on his treble.
The win sees us move three points behind group leaders Borussia Dortmund – who won 3-0 in the groups other game – with Anderlecht and Galatasaray both on one point.
