Radamel Falcao has taken to Twitter to express his delight at scoring his first goal for Manchester United during their 2-1 win over Everton on Sunday afternoon.
Angel Di Maria had given United the lead before David De Gea saved a Leighton Baines penalty on the stroke of half time. Steven Naismith levelled things up at 1-1 in the second half but Falcao showed his predatory instinct when he was on hand to turn home a miss-hit shot from Di Maria to seal a 2-1 win for United.
It was the Colombian international’s first goal since making a season-long loan move to Old Trafford from Monaco on transfer deadline day last month, and you’d expect the striker will now go on to score plenty more as he settles into his new team and edges his way back to full match fitness.
The 28-year-old took to social network site Twitter to express his delight at opening his account for United, and he shared a picture of him celebrating the victory in the dressing room alongside team mates Marcos Rojo, Antonio Valencia, Angel Di Maria, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera.
