Chelsea restored their five point lead at the top of the Premier League with a hard fought 2-1 win at Crystal Palace this afternoon.
The Blues opened the scoring early in the first half when Oscar curled home a stunning free-kick for 1-0 before Cesar Azpilicueta was sent off for a studs up challenge on Mile Jedinak just before half time.
Just two minutes later Palace were also reduced to 10-men when Damien Delaney was sent off for a second bookable offence and Chelsea made them pay when Cesc Fabregas finished off a fantastic team goal to make it 2-0.
Palace did grab a late goal back when Campbell tapped home from close range following good work from Zaha but Chelsea held on to seal the three points.
