Liverpool will be looking to make it three wins from three when they take on Sunderland at Anfield this afternoon. 

Brendan Rodgers has opted to rest skipper Steven Gerrard ahead of Tuesday’s vital Champions League clash with FC Basel, with Philippe Coutinho coming back into the side.

Rickie Lambert keeps his place up front in the absence of Mario Balotelli and Daniel Sturridge while Adam Lallana also starts in attack with Raheem Sterling.

Alberto Moreno comes in at left-back with Javier Manquillo dropping out, and Kolo Toure keeps his place at centre-back.
