Arsenal secured a 2-0 win over Hull City at the Emirates on Sunday evening to book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
There are my ratings from the game:
Ospina 7/10 | A very assured display by the Colombian goalkeeper. Made a couple of routine stops and commanded his area well.
Bellerin 6/10 | Was solid enough at the back but his crossing and decision making was a little disappointing. Particularly in the second half.
Chambers 7/10 | A much improved display from the youngster as he did his part to keep the visitors at bay.
Mertesacker 7.5/10 | Far better than he was at Southampton and popped up with a vital opening goal.
Monreal 6.5/10 | Solid and unspectacular from the Spaniard.
Coquelin 7/10 | Continued his fine form with another all-action display but was perhaps a little over exuberant at times as he was lucky to escape a red cards for a couple of reckless challenges.
Rosicky 8/10 | Another excellent performance from the ever-green Czech international. Very busy in midfield and made good use of the ball.
Cazorla 8/10 | Kept up his superb festive form with another dynamic display. Showed great feet at times and got the assist for Sanchez’s goal.
Walcott 6.5/10 | Showed signs of being rusty, which is understandable after making his first start in a year, as he wasted a couple of great chances to score, but his movement was excellent.
Campbell 6/10 | Showed a willingness to make things happen but lacked the composure to finish a couple of excellent chances to score.
Alexis 9/10 | MOTM. Another sensational performance. Assisted the Mertesacker goal and capped a superb display with a well-taken goal.
