Calum Chambers and Kieran Gibbs also start in defence while Mathieu Flamini joins Aaron Ramsey in midfield with Francis Coquelin dropping out.
Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil start in attack alongside Tomas Rosicky, with the trio supporting Olivier Giroud up front as Alexis Sanchez gets a well-earned rest.
