[Tweets & Photos] Arsenal React: Sanchez ‘Sad’ After Missing Arsenal’s 5-0 Win
Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Mathieu Debuchy were among the players who took to Twitter this evening to react to Arsenal’s 5-0 win over Aston Villa.
Arsenal put in a five star performance to thrash Aston Villa 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.
Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil put the Gunners in control before Theo Walcott made it 3-0 midway through the second half with a fine finish.
Santi Cazorla sealed the three points with a fourth goal from the penalty spot before Hector Bellerin capped off a fine display with a late fifth.
The win sees us move level on points with fourth-placed Southampton and we’re now just a single point off third-placed Manchester United, so it’s easy to understand why the players were in high spirits after the game.
Goalscorers Ozil and Bellerin have taken to Twitter this evening to celebrate our latest victory while youngster Chuba Akpom also paid tribute to Santi Cazorla after enjoying a fine cameo performance during the final 20 minutes of the game.
Mathieu Debuchy and Alexis Sanchez both missed the match through injury but also took to Twitter to congratulate their team-mates on a job well done, although Sanchez admitted he was ‘sad’ to have missed out this afternoon.
Check out what the boys had to say here:
Happy for the great win of the Team……sad for not being at the field…
