Arsenal
Arsenal’s titles chances ablaze again?
By Minal Vachheta
Arsenal showed they can win a difficult game and get the 3 points on Sunday against Everton. Arsenal took the lead just before the first half was over and it looked like they had the game in the bag, however they didn’t anticipate the Toffees putting up a fight towards the end of the game. The Gunners remained strong and defended Everton’s attacks.
Chelsea have lost two of their key defenders for a couple months at least. Alex is set to be out for 2 months and team captain Terry who is the heart of the Chelsea defence is out for an undecided amount of time but thought to be a long stretch. As Sunday proved when the Blues crashed and burned at home to Sunderland that Terry is sorely missed….could this be the window of opportunity Arsenal have been waiting for?
Arsenal are only 2 points behind Chelsea in the league at the moment, with Chelsea’s form taking a bit of a dip and with Arsenal looking like they’ve bounced back from their recent dip; things could be looking up for the north Londoners. The Gunners need to take full advantage of this situation and remain consistent, fight out the tough physical games as well as keeping up the smooth plays and come out winners. They can’t lose concentration or let anyone take any point off them!
If they get this right they may finally get their hands on some silverware.
Is the league winnable????
