van Gaal Makes 3 Changes: Predicted Man Utd Starting XI To Face Sunderland

Manchester United will look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they take on Sunderland at the Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon. Here’s the starting eleven I think Louis van Gaal will go with:
Goalkeeper: No decision for van Gaal to make here, Victor Valdes is a decent back-up but David De Gea is certain to start in goal this weekend.
Defence: Paddy McNair started at right-back during the 2-1 defeat to Swansea last weekend but I think we might see Antonio Valencia return to the side on Saturday. Phil Jones made a successful return from injury at the Liberty Stadium so he should continue alongside Marocs Rojo at the back while Luke Shaw is favourite to start at left-back ahead of Ashley Young.
Midfield: Michael Carrick remains out with a calf injury so Daley Blind is expected to continue in the holding role in midfield. Ander Herrera appears to have played his way into van Gaal’s first team plans in recent games so he could continue in midfield but Adnan Januzaj may get a recall in place of Marouane Fellaini. Angel Di Maria is expected to keep his place and start at the tip of the diamond ahead of Juan Mata.
Attack: Robin van Persie is expected to miss up to four weeks after reportedly damaging ankle ligaments against Swansea last time out so van Gaal has a hole to fill up front. James Wilson is an injury doubt so Radamel Falcao looks set for a recall and is likely to start alongside Wayne Rooney in attack.
Here is how I think we’ll see United line-up:
What do you think? What team would you select for the game?
